Very Commendable Rebuke.
Several Democratic papers including the Indianapolis Sentinel, are engaged in the work of speculating upon the probable successor of Senator Morton, and do not attempt to conceal their gratification at tb« apparently near approach of death of tbo senior Indiana senator. This is exceedingly poor taste, and reflects hut little credit upon either the hearts or the heads of those engaged in it. Senator Morton has his faults, and perhaps more than a due proportion of them, but the spirit that would lead a man to gloat over the misfortunes of another is not to be envied.—Delphi Times \ Democratic.) j
