A Female Young Men’s Christian Association.

Judge Gilletl, as president of the Young Men’s Christian Association of this place, has rented the Unitarian church at $75 a year, and is repairing it for use at, their headquarters. They hold prayer meetings every morning at 8 o’clock, and conference meetings several evenings of tho week. This association labors iu the cause of “gospel temperance," and generally holds a meeting somewhere iu the country on the Sabbath, where the president discourses and the choir attend and sing. This Young Men’s Christian Association is superior to other institutions of the name in being composed largely of women which theil name fails to indicate. Wchopelheir operations will be useful.—Valparaiso Vidcttc,
