Ks church for the j present conference year was held in the grove at liluc Grass school house, six miles west of Rensselaer, last Saturday and Sunday, Presiding Elder Smith officiating. The Sunday services were made the occasion of a basket meeting which was largely attended by citizens of both the town and country. Elder Smith did not fill his appointuicnt at this place Sunday evening owing to the fact that he had another quarterly ine< ting to hold at Remington, the two appointments being on the same day. He was assisted at both meetings by Rev. Thus. Vanscov.
