He ran his Campaign on the issue of Retrenchment, denouncing his Opponent for hit Extravagance ; yet are his Quarterly Allowances any Least Eight Hundred and Party-eight Honest Grangers voted for him, out he did not dart to Trust one of them as a Deputy. His Friends urged his election on the ground of his Superior Qualifications; but he is Compelled to employ an Expert to Supervise his Work and Keep his Books Straight.
