A Donation Party.

A donation party was held st ths residence of Mr. Btlange, four miles north oi Repingtoa, on the 28th of February, for the benefit of Rev. G- D. Shapley. Everything was nioe and in perfect order, reflecting highly upon the committee. The exercises consisted of singing by a ohoir composed of Mr. I. Hamer, Mr. C Hamer, Mr, D. Ravensoroft, Mr. H. Raveuscroft, Mrs. Tuttle, Miss Ella Belange, Mias Hattie Cross and Miss Ella Cross. Mr. Tuttle announced in a few chosen words the object of the meeting. Rev. Mr. Shapley occupied about twenty minutes with an appropriate address, dosing with an invocation of Divine blessing upon all present. After singing the company sat down to a bountiful repast. The net proceeds of the collection amounted <o $27.55. Everybody was happy and pronounced the party a grand success. Observer.
