The Coolest Convict Yet.
Warden Mayne, of the Indiana state prison north, states that a fewdays ago a gentlemanly looking person was shown through the institution at his own request, and expressed himself as well pleased with the looks of things. He finally said he had been sentenced to spend two years there, but had moved for a new trial, which be feared would not be granted, and so he had come to inspect his future residence. He was denied a new trial, and is now incarcerated.
