New goods have just been received al Leopold’s. Bleached muslin at extremely low prices, at Leopold’s. Several new cases of boots and shoes just .opened, at Leopold’s. The best assortment of calicoes ever brought to the town, at Leopold's. Gents, call and see those beautiful ties at Leopold’s. They are beau ties. , Clothing is still sold at cost at Willey & Siglers, to make room for new stock. Domestic goods—a new lot received at Leopold’s. Will be sold at bottom figures. Most elegant styles of dress goods ever displayed in Rensselaer, now opened at Leopold’s. Ladies are iuv ted to call at Leopold’s and examine his splendid stock of alpaca dress goods. The county clerk’s office was remodeled yesterday by the introduction of stylish new furniture. All persons indebted to Willey & Sigler are requested to call and settle, either by cash or note. It is so mild to-day that we work in the press-room with doors open, windows raised, and fires out. Read Messrs. Bass £ Co.’s new advertisement, pnd give the new firm euostantial encouragement. Members of the family of Mr. A. G. W. Farmer, of Jordon township, are sick with scarlet fever. A. Leopold has just returned from market with a splendid line of dress goods. On the sth instant a marriage license was issued to Josiah Godwin and Rachel N. David; and on the 6th,one to Robert Bruce Porter and Eveline J. J. Parkispu. David B. Nowels will find his Teachers’ Register at this office lying where he left it. Good care has been taken of the book and none of the love letters have been read. A mild type of scarlet fever it is reported has made its appearance among the children of Rensselaer, though whose family has been attacked we have been unable to learn. , .
