Lecture and Festival
At the court house on next Tuesday evening (Nov. 28th,) Rev. Chas. E. Lambert will deliver a lecture upon “Buddlia the Prophet of Buddhism,” after which a festival will be served. The prooeeds of the entertainment to be devoted to the interest of the Methodist Episcopal church. Following aro the committees: Otstkes. —Mrs. Wood, Mrs. Hopkins, Mrs. Lahnson, Mrs. Crockett, Miss Hattie Porter, Miss Lizzie Obenohain, Mr. M. O. Cissel and Mr. Wm. Moss. . Cake and Fruit. —Mrs. Duvall, Mrs. Cotton, Mrs. Clark, Miss Amanda Israel, Miss Lizzie Walton, Miss Emma Conwell, Mr. M. F. Chilcote and Mr. J. W. Duvall. Candy Stand.-— Mr. D. J. Thompson, Mr. James Abbett, Miss Lillie Tharp and Miss Emma Rhoads. Pop Corn.— Miss Belle Altfir and Miss Ome Thomas. Admission fee 10 cents; children free. Oysters 25 cents a dish; cake and fruit, 15 cents. All are Invited.
