The Great Centennial History of the United States.

Mr. A. C. Record is now canvassing Jasper county for that excellent work “The Great Centennial History of the United States,” compiled by the celebrated historical writer, Renj. J. Lussing, whose abilities as an author are too well known to the people of the United States to need auy comments. The work contains about 800 royal octavo pages, printed on extra calendered paper, illustrated by 400 engravings on wood, and 12 fine steel-plate en graviugs. The work is printed both in English and German, at the same price for either language. From, its cheapness, as well as its utility, it is, emphatically, the book for the timet. No person can afford to be without it. It is not sold in the stores. Hence, the only opportunity to obtain this most valuable work iif that which is now offered through the agency above mentioned.
