Let Us Up and At Them.
Tub Rekmelaek Uniox, two or llireo years ago severed Us connection with nil political parties, and has been fighting “in a gang tty itself ” over since. It left the republican fuld to enter upon tbe adventures of its knight errant wandering*, and has many a time and oft leveled its lunee in combat with its former friends; but, seeing the battle lines of 1876, forming for a mighty struggle, it again joins the republican hosts, and inscribes the names of Hayes and Harrison and Calkins upon its pennon. It is still a free lance ; but it is now fighting for a cause, with a definite purpose. The editor of Thr Union is a doughty warrior, and the Journal gives right hoarty welcome to tho aid of his strong right arm. in the pending fray. Let us “up and at them," Brother James. Dicu defend le droit.—Logamport Journal .
