Pulaski county wheat is excel lent in quality this season. Seven dollars a ton is the ruling o f>rioe for anthracite coal at Indiana polis. Five head of horses for sale cheap on time; enquire of A Leopold. 49-3. A new steam plaining mill and sash factory is in proeess of completion at De phi. A little boy at Indianapolis was saved from death by strangulation from a marble that got lodged in his throat, one day last week, by the prompt action of his father who is a physician. At A. Leopold’s can be seen the finest stock of. black cassimers, silks and alpacas. They were bought before the late rise in goods of this description, and will be sold cheaper than can be afforded by any other bouse in the county. Fitteen or twenty names were added to the Hayes and Wheeler ,club roll of Marion township, at the Boroughs school house meeting on last Saturday night. Among them were gentlemen who have heretofore voted with the democratic party, and others who acted with the independents two years ago. So truth prevails over error because it is mighty.
