Jerome Boroughs and a young Clark indulged iu a small fisticuff on Saturday evening; after being separated they went away by themselves and talked their difficulty over in a rational manner, and it is hoped a permanent peace has been established. In the announcement made in this paper last week of a basket meeting to be held at the Howard school house on next Sunday, it was erroneously stated to be-“by “special request of the Free Will “Baptist denomination,” etc. It should have been announced for the Missionary or Regular Baptists. But this error will in nowise interfere with the holding of the meeting at the place and time designated —the Howard school house, four miles east of Rensselaer, Augu»s 6.
