Johnny Hemphill and his sifter Maggie are home from Evanston college Mr. Thomas Thompson and wife are doin'- the Centennial Exposition. Master Louis Hollingsworth is seeing Centennial sights in company with his unde, Mr. Emmet K-innal. Mrs. 8. O. Duvall, of Momcnco, 111., and Mrs. Dr. Dames, of Goodland, were visiting their Mrs. Tharp, last week.. Thomirry McCoy is home from Purdue University, and during the absence of Mr. Thos. Thompson at Philadelphia officiates for him in the bank. Uncle Ilenry C. Smith has been handling the paint brush with good effect on several buildings in town this season, notable among which is the front of the Liberal Corner block. -_. . _ Mr. Geo.
