Rejairts for last Tliurxday concerning the mousy market insignificant. It is c limit that the customary summer stagnation had commenced. Tho demand fbr money was light, and there was no quotable change in rates of interest. Tho flow of currency was notably from tbs country to tho city of Chicago, and from there it must soon commence to flow towards Wall street. Tho grain markets are as yet but slightly disiubed by tho warlike preparations in progress in Europe. Gold in New York waa dull at )12i@112| Railroad stocks were said to be strong, though the market opened from per cent lower than it had closed on the previous day. Londomdispatches of 23d announced an increase of bullion in tho bank of England for the week to the extent of $4,935,000. From I’aris it wax reported that the increase of specie in the bank of France had been $2,400,000 fbr the week. At Chicago the receipts of hogs for summer packing were reported ns “quite liberal, “packers doing an extensive business, “running thoir houses to as full capacity as “cncuriigtanees would warrant.” Up to that date, last Thursday, it was estimated that riot far from 650,000 hogs - had been slaughtered since the close of tho winter season, and for tho summer tho nnmber would reach a round million. Grain and provision markets were active, and local speculators were operating freely, while many orders for buying and selling were received from other places. The shipping demand, however was ouly fair. Spring wheat advanced 1 cent, corn of a cent, hogs declined 15020 cents, cattle a trifle better. The quotations fbr the 22d day of June are as follows :
