APPLICATION FOR LICENSE. Notice is hereby given to the citizens of the town of Rensselaer and Marion township, in Jasper county, and State of Indiana, that the undersigned, a male inhabitant of said town, township, connty and State,over the age of twenty* one years, not in the habit of becoming intoxicated, and a fit person to be entrusted with the sale of intoxicating liquors, will apply to the Board of Commissioners of Jasper county, and State of Indiana, at their regular December session, A. D. 1875, for a license to sell spirituous, vinous and malt liquors in less quantity than a quart at a time, with the privilege of allowing the same to be drank on the premises. The precise location of the premises wherein said liquors are to f be sold and drank is in the lower story of a two-story frame bulking fronting on Washington street, and situated upon tbe following described premises, to-wit: Commencing at the corner of lot nine, in block nine, at the corner of Washington and Van Rensselaer streets; thence north 57 degrees and 10 minutes east, parallel with Washington street twenty-one feet; thence north 32 degrees and 50 minutes west, twen-ty-eight and one-half feet; thence south 57 degrees and 10 minutes west, twenty-oue feet, to the easterly line of Van Rensselaer street; thence south 32 degrees and 50 minutes east, to the place of beginning. Said premises being known and designated as the bar-room of the City Hotel, and all on lot number nine, block number nine, in the town of Rensselaer, county of Jasper, and State of Indiana. D. 1875, for a license to sell malt liquors m a lees quantity than a quart at a time, #lth the privilege of permitting the same to be drank on the premises herein described. The precise location of the premises In which said liquors are to be sold and drank is in a one story brick building, fourteen (14) feet wide .-by twenty-six (26) feet long, fronting on Front street and located on a part of lot number thirty (30), in section thirty (30), township twenty-nine v 29) north, range six (6) west, in the town of I Rensselaer, in the county of Jasper, and Slate of Indiana, more particularly described as follows, to-wit: Commencing at a point on the westerly line of Front street, twenty (20) feet north 32 degrees and 50 minutes west, from the angle formed by continuing the line dividing lots fourteen (14) and fifteen (15), in block three (3), in the original plat of the town of Rensselaer, south 57 degrees and 10 minutes west, until it intersects the westerly line of said Front street, in said town ot Rensselaer, thence south 57 degrees and 10 minutes west, on a line parallel with Washington street, in said town, twenty-six (26; feet; thence north degrees and 58 minutes west, on a line parallel with Front street, fourteen [l4] feet; thence north 57 degrees and 10 minutes east, on a line parallel with Washington street, twenty-six [26] feet, to the westerly line of Front street; thence south 32 degrees and 50 minates east, along the said westerly line of Front street, fourteen [l4] feet, to the place of beginning.
