Proceedings of Town Trustees.
Board met in regal arse ssiori Monday evening, Judy 5 th, 1875. Present full board with J. D. Hopkins presiding and N. W. Reeve, Clerk. J. H. Loughridge, of the committee on bridge repairs, filed their report setting forth that the bridge over the Iroquois river can be made sate for public travel for one year by putting eight' supports thereunder, and a cost not exceeding sixty dollars. Report accepted and committee instructed to contract for the said repairs in accordance with the tenor of the report. J. H. -Loughridge, of the committee appointed to inquire into the possibility of making a survey of the town of Rensselaer, made report of said committee, which is to the effect that in their opinion it is highly important that the lines of the several streets and the corners of all the blocks be permanently and correctly fixed;and that they have in accordance with this opinion inquired of several parties as to the best method of securing this result. Said committee was instructed to draft a schedule of instructions for the use of a surveyor in making said survey. Allowed the following bills: James & Healy, printing $ 2 00 N. W. Reeve, assessing, etc., 17 00 Harding & Willey, bridge timber 8 90 Ralph Fendig, bridge timbei*, 800 F. W. Bedford, bridge timber, 12 67 W. W. Reeve, Marshal,..; 61 00 On motion J. H. Loughridge and Ira W. Yeoman were appointed permanent committee on finance.
