Rensselaer Union, Volume 7, Number 41, Rensselaer, Jasper County, 1 July 1875 — Products, Cattle, &c, of Jasper County in 1874. [ARTICLE]
Products, Cattle, &c, of Jasper County in 1874.
The following table of tho productions, cultivated acreage, cattle, etc., in this county last year, is taken from the reports of the township assessors. It is very incomplete, some townships having been only partially canvassed by those who were charged with that duty, and the town of Remington not being reported at all. It is very much to be regretted that the omissions were made, from the fact that a summary of the report is sent to the Auditor of State, who has it published to the world, and thus both State and county, through the oversight of those who should have been careful, is made to suffer by comparison with pther counties and states where greater care was taken.
