Jasper County Agricultural and Mechanical Association.
At the meeting of the stockholders of the Jasper County Agricultural and Mechanical Association last Saturday, Alessrs. George H. Brown, William K. ParkisOn, Henry A. Barkley, Berry Paris, Charles Boroughs, Joshua Healey, Charles C. Starr, David Nowels and A. J. Yeoman were elected directors. On motion of Mr. Parkison the time for holding the annual meeting to elect directors was changed from the first Saturday in April to the second Saturday in November. The secretary and the treasurer of the Association read their reports, which were as follows: secretary’s report. On motion these reports were referred to Messrs. L. W. Henkle, A. W. Cleveland and I. W. Yeoman, committee, for examination and auditing. The board of directors elected the old board of officers, to-wit: George 11. Brown, president, Wm. K. Parkison, vice president, Joshua Healey, secretary, Charles C. Starr, treasurer, and Allen J. Yeoman, superintendent. The fourth annual fair of the Association will be held Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, the 13th, 14th, 15th ami 16th days of September, 1875.
