Land sales have been larger here this fall and winter than ever before at this time of year. People in and around Remington ought to be contented, for corn and money are plenty and health is good. The market prices at Remington are as follows: Corn 1 ; new; 59 cfhTs, oats, new, in wagons. 48 cents, wheat. 97 to $1.20 per bushel; wood, $4 to $5 a cord ; butter, 20 to 25 cents a pound; eggs 25 cents a dozen ; flour, $3 to $4 per cwt.; lard 15 cents a pound ; potatoes $1 per bushel; apples, $1 per bushel; pork, dressed. $7 to $7.50, live, $6 to $6 25.
