Jasper County as a Home.

It is a frequent remark of travelers that the region of country around Remington is one of the most inviting places between Logansport and Peoria.—lnvlfin g to labor an d to capital. We have here the resources of a thriving community: Rich and productive soil, intelligent and enterprising people, churches and schools unsurpassed by any Pew settlement, and a location well adapted to the production of grain and raising of cattle. There is no better place north or south, east or west, wlie,e there are so many openings for capital; and the constant arrival of strangers looking up locations for future profits, indicates a business out-look for town and countryof no ordinary moment. Our whole society is hiking permanent shape, and now is the time to invest. We invite people of other couinmnities desiring homes in a good country to look this way.—Remington Guard.
