Janies Spencer has purchased the drug store formerly owned by F. G. Hoffman. Several young men who swore off playing billiards are at it again, we understand. There are about fifty eases as the epizootic reported among the horses ill this place, however we have heard of no deaths yet. We have not been able to learn when our school will commence.— From the present condition of our school house we should judge that it will be Opened ohout the first of May. We have heard a number of farmers say that there will not be nearly as good a crop of corn this season as was at first anticipated, and that the yield will fall at least onethird below the average calculation.
