Pratrie Lodge'No. 12-5, F. & A. M„ Rensselaer, Ind. Oct. Ibtflft 1872. Whereas, It has pleased the Grand Architect of the Universe to remove from our Lodge our dearly beloved brother, John M. Knox, M. J)., therefore, Retained, That-in the death of Brother Knox we are again reminded of the uncertainty of life, and the importance of a faithful compliance with the tenets of our daily intercourse with mankind, Resolwd, That we sincerely deplore the loss of our dear Brother, who, at all times, was a genial companion, whose heart jvas always open to the generous sympathies of kind apd ennobling impulses. One who was always ready and willing to extend a helping hand to assist the wants cf the needy and distressed? and who always entertained and expressed the liveliest sentiments of respect for the beloved Order of which he was a cherished, member. Resolved, That in the loss of Brother Knox we sincerely sorrow with the many kind friends lie leaves behind, and that* we cordially extend to them our earnest and most heartfelt sympathies in this their hour of sad bereavement.
