Re it ordained by the President and Trustees of the town'Of Rensselaer, tlmt the territory embraced in the corporation of said town la hereby divided into five Districts, as follows, to-wit: Ist District. All that part of tho town tlmt lies southeasterly of tho center ot Washington street and northerly oi the Iroquois river slmll be known and designated as tho First District. 2d District. All tlmt part of town that lies northerly of the center ol Van Rensselaer streot and westerly of tho center or Washington street, including Weston’s Addition, nIiuII ho known and designated as Second District. 3rd District. All that part of town tlmt lies between tho center of Washington street and tho Newton Additlou, and between tlie center of Van Rensselaer streot and the Iroquois river, slmll he known and designated ns tho Third District. ' 4th District. Tho Newton Addition slmll be known and designated as the Fourth District. sth District. Ail-that part of town tlmt lies on tho southerly side of tho Iroquois river shall be known and designated as the Fifth District. Sec. 2. In elections for town officers hereafter to be hold, one Trusteo shall he clooted from each of said districts. Sec. 3. All ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. Sec. 4. An emcrgoncy is hereby declared, for tho immediate taking effect of tills ordinance, and tlie same shall therefore take effect aild be in force from and after its passage.
