Application for License. THE citizens of Mai lon township. in the county of Jasper and State ot Indiana, and the public generally, will take notice that Louia Jones, who is a white male inhabitant of said township, in said county aud State, and over the age of twenty-oue years, and who is a man of good character and fit to be entrusted with a license to retail intoxicating liquors, will present a petition and. npplication to the Board of Commissioners of Jasper county, in said Stale of Indiana, at their next regular term or session to lie held at the Auditor's office in the Court House, iu the town of Rensselaer, Jasper county, Indiana, beginning on the first Monday of March, 187 l» the same being the 6th day of March, 1871, praying for a license to sell, vend aud retail intoxicating liquors in and by a leas quantity than a quart at a time, and to sufler the siune to be drank upon and about his premises hereinafter described, in pursuance to the statute in such cases made and provided. The precise location of the premises on und in which the said Louis Jones will pray for a license to sell, vend and retail intoxicating liquors In the manner above named, is described an follows, to-wit: The one story frame building situated upon the following described tract or lot of land* in the town of Rensselaer, Jasper county, and State of ludiauu, to-wit: Commencing at the westerly line of Front street in said town, one hundred (100) feet northerly from the point of its junction with the northerly line of Washington sheet, thence westerly parallel with Washington street thirty-three (33) feet, thence northerly parallel with Front street tweuly-oue(2l)'foet, theuco easterly parallel witli Washington street thirty-three (33) feet, to the wesleily line of Front street, then-e southerly along the westerly line of Front street twenty-one (21) feet to the place ot beginning.
