Resolutions of Condolence.
f Haxi> of Iroquois Lodge, J No. 143, I. O. O. F., (Rensselaer, Jan. 17th, 18X1. To the N. G. officers and brethren of Iroquois Lodge No. 143 I. O. O. F. of Rensselaer Indiana, Brethren: We the undersigned committee appointed to draft Resolutions of Condolence on the death of our brother John W. Coats, respectfully report the following: Resolved, That it is with profound sorrow and chastened hearts we bow in humble submission to the will of Him who doeth all things well, and, while we shed a tear over our brother’s grave, in memory of the many virtues which his every day life exemplified, we will renew our pledges of devotion to the principles of our order, which he while living so dearly cherished. Resolved, That we tender to the wife and friends of our deceased brother, our warmest sympathy in their affliction, and a renewal of our pledges to watch over and protect them. ~~ Resolved, That a copy of these resolutions be furnished the wife of our deceased brother, and that they be published in the Rensselaer Union.
