Arrivals at the Nagle House
Wo have received the following items from Remington since our last publication: The nbw Christian chapel will be dedicated on next Sabbath (fourth Lord’s day in August).— Elder James 11. McColtougli, of Dayton, Ohio, will conduct the services. Grain comes into market quite lively but prtcoß are about the same as reported last week.— Potatoes command a good price and are scarce. It is reported that our lively correspondent, Velocipede, has disappeared quite mysteriously. The last seen of him ho was under full headway in pursuit of an item, but when he overtook it, lie found it of such a nature that he dare not report, fearing that it might enll down the wrath of the community upon his devoted cars. Being a mild, noncombative individual it is presumed lie has taken refuge behind a rosin weed until the storm has passed aud he considers it safe to venture among the haunts of men. If he should be flushed by any chicken hunter’s dog his friends (among which are we) hope he may be kindly cared for. Treat him nice.
