Business beginning to revive. The wagon shop at P. H. Lally is crowded with work. Maxwell & Conner arc laying the foundation for an extensive n ursery. , ■" ' JTeisfSr W ilber, Chambers & Bro. are doing an immenso real estate business. Messrs. Jouvenat «fc Cowell refiort considerable activity in the egal profession. All kinds of agricultural machinery and its extras, arc kept in store by E. E. Lockwood. Burkett «& Middlcsworth are doing some <ff tho finest work in boot making we over saw. A fino quarry of superior building stone has been discovered within a conple of miles ot town. <Japt. Thomas, tho renowned magician and ventriloquist, exhibits in Ttcmington on the 23d and 25th. Mr. McKim has recently purchased the Lockwood corner, moved the buildings off and is now preparing to erect a large stoue build- - mg on the site. Tho Haver House maintains its well earned reputation and under itho management of the present proprietors is increasing its fame. 'Good food, good beds, comtortablo accommodations, attentive servants and moderate charges are among its attractions. Lost—Friday, 15th Inst., on Rensselaer and Morrocco road, a long brown morocco pocket book, containing a ten dollar national bank note bill, also quite a number of notes and other papere.
