Should the Republican nominations be made early, or not until after raid-summer? We are decidedly in favor of speedy action so that the campaign may be fairly commenced before the busy season comes on. Candidates tor nomination are too apt to bore their fellow citizens of the rural districts and the sooner the pressure is over the better for the people. We are in favor of unity of action. We want no divisions in our ranks. Every aspirant should enter the contest with a firm resolve to gracefully bear defeat. Divisions and dissensions will only give power to our opponents. Let us select the best men and then yield them our cordial and united support.
