PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given, that the Annual Liat of Internal Revenue Taxes of the United States for the year 1869, in the 9th Collection District, of Indiana, has been received from the Assessorthereof for collection’; and that the Taxee assessed thereon are now due and payable; and that the Collector of said District either by himself or deputy will attend upon the Tax payers of Jasper County to receive the same at the places and times followingtherein, to-wit: At the Babb House in Remington, May 24th 1869, and at the office of M. F. Chilcote, in Rensselaer. Deputy Collector of said County until the sth day of June following, when costs and penalties will accrue and follow upon all Taxes then delinquent. NOTICE isThereby given that the undersigned, Auditor of Jasper county, will receive sealed proposals for the erection of a Bridge across the Iroquois River about one mile above. Rensselaer. Said Bridge will be built on the plan furnished by John Lefler. I will also receive sealed proposals for making the Grades for said Bridge, which grades will be sold out by the cubic yard to the lowest responsible bidder. The Commissioners reserve to themselves the right to reject any or all bids, both on the Bridge and also on the Grades. Bids will be received up to the third day of the June term 1889, of the Commissioners’ Court. For Plans.
