Nursery Stock.
Many persons have been disappointed in Jasper county in the fruit trees {hey have been induced to purchase of itinerant peddlers. The causes of failure and disappointment have been many and varied. Frequently the trees, shrubs or plants would not live, oftener they have turned out to be of inferior quality and in scores of instances they were not in any respect -as represented. The result is, many arc discouraged mid others are i afrajd_iq_plant fruit trees. Without entering into details upon this matter it is safe to venture that a *vhuudred fold more fruit trees, vines and shrubs would be planted if people could only ,rely upon the | stock they bargain for. In to-day’s Union R. Y. Martin, Esq., advertises a largo stock of fruit trees, evergre<i)B, ornamental shrubs, vines, small fruits, etc., qll thrifty, grown in the county and aoolirqated, We feel confident that th.ose who purchase of Jiim will find everything as represented —trqp to name, and ev- ! ebyway reliable.
