Mr. Horace Peacock, living on the Bnnkum road, brought to our offico last Monday, a she Lynx, he had succeeded iu killing near the mouth of Curtis Creek, some tlireo miles West of town. The animal was tracked five or six miles to a tree . Where it had taken refuge among the branches about twenty feet up from the grotiud. This is the fourth animal ot the species that has been killed in the vicinity of Rensselaer within a year.
