Partingtonian.
“Since the days ot Noe” there dwelt within sight of the classic • Iroquois—pronounced Earoquois by sndhs—ii young blood bettor known for his enterprise than his. education, and possessed of more brass than brains. Chancing to visit the city of Chicago during the season Booth was representing Hamlet on tlie boards, he went to the theater. Upon coming home our hero had many things to tell about the wonderful city and the sights he had seen, and was exceedingly lavish in his praise of the great tragedian whom, lie declared could not be excelled in bis rendition of Hemlock. * * * :->TWe learn that our enterprising young friend, Mr. N. G. Weathers,'has been appointed agent for the sale of Stewart’s “American Farmer’s Horse Book.” This is a good book, needed by every farmer and horse owner, and we hope Mr. Weathers will be liberally patronized.
