GOOD TEACHING.

We understand that thirteen applicants were licensed to teach scnool at the examinations last Saturday. Teaching is the most necessary profession to Church aDd State. The evils of poor teaching should cease, but will not until young scholars stop making it their refuge as a steppingstone to a more gainful employment, and until better compensaUou-ia 1 given and larger wages earned. The patrons should take a more deep and abiding interest in schools. We think, however, that schoolteaching is improving in our county. A number of our most talented young men undertake it with delight and perform the duties with dexterity and success. *. “Barrett’s” Celebrated Hair Restorative.
