IROQUOIS POULTRY ASSOCIATION.

As per call a number of the poultry fanciers met on the fair grouods en Thursday, October 9tb, 1879, and arranged an association. Being fowl men they organized on the wing, many of the would he members being too busy to "rally ’ronnd the ‘coops’ boys, tally once again.’’ The organization was but temporary, it being decided that the president and secretary should call a . meet ing yet this autumn to jierfect the organization, elect officers for the year 1880 and adopt constitution, by-laws, etc. Tbe temporary officers elected were; President, Dr I. B. Washburn, Rensselaer; secretary, C. W. Clifton, Rensselaer; executive committee, Dr. 8. C. Maxwell, Remington, Kilev Novels, Rensselaer; 11. W. Wood, Rensselaer. The organisation members preseat and by letter are H. W. Wood, M. B. Alter, Riley bowels, I. B. Washburn, S. C. Maxwell, C. W. Clifton, Emmet Kannal, W. R. Leve, 0. B. Chappell G. B. Clark, H. Landon, Samuel W.‘Ritchey and C. J. Brown. Tlie executive committee were requested to prepare by-laws and constitution, appoint a time for a meeting of the members and notify tbe secretary that a call might b« issued in accordance therewith.
