A Box Social will be given at the No 6 school house, Newton Tp., on Saturday evening, January 9, 1897, for the purpose of securing library books. A programme will be given consisting of Instrumental Music, songs, dialogues, declamations, paper, etc. A prize will be given to the highest bidder. All are requested £o come.
