Death of Mrs. W. F. Shaffner.

Mrs. Sophia Shaffner died suddenly Saturday morning, Dec. 26th at the home of her son. Leon W. Shaffner, in Wheatfield Township. She wa®, the widow of the late Wosine F, Shaffner, a former very prominent citizen, and an ex-trus-tee of that township. She has lived in this county twenty years. Previous to that time she lived in Lafayette, where her husband was a prominent merchant. The remains were Jaken back to Lafayette for burial, where her husband, who died sevpral years ago, is also buried.
