Stole Turkeys In Hanging Grove.
Monon Chronicle, —Albert John of Pnlaski county, and Isaac Panel of Jasper county, were arrested Wednesday for stealing turkeys. They were tried before Esq. Jones found guilty and bound over to the circuit court in the snm of SIOO each. They confessed to have taken seven from Dave Culp, fonr from Abe Noian, one from Robt.. Newman. They took them Tuesday night and sold them Wednesday morning to M. C. Phillips of this place. They breraght them $26.18, which amount they turned over to the Marshal when he took them in charge. In default of bond they were taken to Monticello and lodged in jail.
