last past and that this applicant is the actual owner and proprieter of said business and will be snch if license be granted, will apply to the Board of Commissioners of said Jasper County, Indiana, at their September term; 1896, said term commencing onMonday, September 7th, 1896, for a license to* sell and barter spirit: uous, vinous, malt and all other intoxicating liquors in a less quantity than a quart at a time, with the privilege of allowing and permitting the same to be drank on the following premises to-wit: The precise location of the premises on which the undersigned desires to sell nd barter with the privilege of allowing the same to be drank thereon is a one-story frame building, thirty-two (32) feet long by eighteen (18) feet wide on Main street and situated in out-lot number thirteen (13) in Bentley’g addition to the town of Wheatßeld, Indiana. Being a part of the northeast quarter of the south-* west quarter of sectioq twenty-five (25), township thirty-two (32) north, range six (6) west in Jasper County, Indiana, and mote particularly described as follows to wit:

Commencing two hundred and twenty-seven (227) feet south of the center of said section, thence running due west twenty-five (25) feet being the place of beginning, thence continuing due west thirty two (32) feet, thence running due south eighteen [lß] feet, thence running due east uiirty -two [32] feet, and thence running due north eighteen [lß] feet to the place of beginning. That the said described room is seperate from any other business of any kind and that no devices for amusements or music of any kind of character is in said room, and that there is no partition or partitions in said room; that the said room can be securely closed and locked and admission thereto prevented; that said room is situated on the ground floor and, fronts on Main street in said town of Whe&lfitrld, Indiana, and is so arranged with glass windows, so that the whole of said room ms} be viewed from said street; said applicant will also at the time and place of applying for said license make a farther rtquest for the grant of a privilege to establish, maintain, and run a lunch counter, and sell aU kinds of soft drinks, such as lemonade, pop, soda water, etc., in the above described room and in connection with said sale pf liquors. Application for Liquor License: Notice is hgrby given to the citizens of the town of DeMotte, and of Keener township, in Jasper County, Indiana, that the undersigned, Reason M. Dunn, a male inhabitant of the state of Indiana, over the age of twenty-one years, of good moral character, and a man who is not in the habit of becoming intoxicated, and who has been a continuous resident of said town and township for over ninety days last past, and who is in respect to all legal qualifications and requirements, a fit and proper person to be intrusted with the sale of intoxicating liquors, and who will be the actual owner and proprietor of said retail liquor business, if license be granted him: Will apply to the Board of Commissioneis of said Jasper County, Indiana, at their September Term, 1896, said term commencing on Monday Sept<mber 7th, 1896, at the Court House in the town of Rensselaer, in said county, for a license to sell and barter, spirituous, vinous, malt and all other intoxicating liquors, in a less quantity than a quart at a time, with the privilege of allowing the same to be drank on the premises where sold and bartered. Said applicant will also at the -same time and place ask tLe said Board to grant him the privilege of establishing and conducting a lunch counter and furnishing meals and edibles, and all kinds of soft drinks and cigars and tobacco in the room, and in connection with the said retail liquor business.

Tbe location of the premises whereon, said applicwt desires to conduct said retail liquor and lunch business, is a one story frame building, fronting on an unnamed street, in the said town of DeMotte, Jasper County, Indiana. The precise location of said premises are more particularly described as follows, viz The said building is, located on lot fourteen [l4] in block three [s] of the original plat of the town DeMotte, in said Jasper County. The north east [ne] corner of said building being seven [7] feet and seven [7] inches west, and 1 twenty [2o] feet south from the northeast [ne] corner of said lot. Thence by outside^measurement west nineteen [l9] feet and seven [7] inches, thence south four [4] feet, thence west nineteen [l9] feet and ten [lo] inches, thence south sixteen [l6] leet and four [4] inches, thence east thirty-nine [39] feet and five [s] inches, thence north twfinty [2OJ feet and four, 4, inches, to the place of beginning. Tbe said described room and building is separate from any other business of any kind, and has no devices for amusement or music of any kind or character. Tbe said bnilding fronts to the north on said unnamed street, having two, 2, windows and one. 1, door on the north side thereof.
