Apparently the officer in charge had not counted upon the effect of the kfCPtning tide, whieh was wry high.

President Hill, of the Great Northern Railway Company, and S. This connection, it is thought, will be of great importance to the Great Northern Road, enabling it to Issue bills of lading from Buffalo to Yokohama and Hongkong. It will open up for the United States a new market for Sour, lumber, food products and cotton.
