Weather extremely warm. Rev. Wright preached at Osborne Ang.9. The child of Wesley Hammefton is also in a dyiDg condition. Quite a number of cases of sickness in our midst, some quite serious. One death occured Sat. eve the child of Mr. Herron of McCoysburg. fir. Sump of east H. G. lost their two months old baby Tuesday morn. The stoim of Thursday last did a great deal of damage to crops. The corn that wrs the pride of H. G. now lies hnmbled in the dust, a great quantity of the ears being entirely severed from the stalks. '*• Mrs, Joseph Stewart on returning from a very pleasant visit with friends and relatives in Ohio found her house filled with the smiling faces of her neighbors and mosquitoes 16 to 1. After taking of refreshments the friends departed fighting mbsquitoes on the way. 1
