Edison's Speech.
Mr. Edison has only once tried to make a speech. It was before a girls’ seminary, where he had agreed to lec-t-ure on electricity. He had engaged a friend naim-d Adams to operate the apparatus wlille he talked; bjut when the “Wizard” arose before his audience, he felt so dazed that he simply said; “laidles, Mr. Adams will now address you on electricity, and I will demonstrate what he has to say with the apparatus."
