Farewell! Old Court House.
A "public eptortaiivhent, the last that will z ever place there will he held at tlie old court house, next Wednesday evening, July Bth. The .exercises will he in tlie nature of a last farewell to the <ild building, which, even then, will pi-rhiqw be in progress of demolition. While the program is not in a sufficient stage 'of completion for publi--cation; the exercises will be largely in the line of reflainiscenses of what has taken place in the ,old building. The entertainment will be under the: auspices, and for the benefit of the Women’s Relief Corps, and will be somewhat in the line of a Historical Camp-fire-Different citizens will give short addresses, on such subjects as the old log court house and jail. The building burning and the rebuilding of the present structure. War.time reminiscenses etc. etc. Also recitations, old war songs, etc. Admission 10 cents, children 5 cents. The Relief Corps will also give a lawn festival in the afternoon and evening, in the court house yard.
