The Comity Commissioners.
The County ! Commissioners met Monday, in regular June session. Mdnday W s devoted 'largely to the consideration of claims. The resignation of Ralph W. Marshall, as county attorney, was and accepted. Tuesday was mostly taken Up by the hearing of saloon license applications. Licenses were granted to Henry Hildebrand, of Rensselaer;' Dan O’Conner, of Remington; Alfred Barlow, of Wheatfield. -There were no remonstrances in any of these cases. ~ ; In the application of Hugh McKevitt, also of Wheatfield, Samufel Remly remonstrated, charging that the applicant would get intoxicated. There was some evidence, tending to prove this assertion, and' there being also a lack of evidence proving the applicant’s general fitness for selling intoxicating liquors, his application was denied. Wednesday was devoted to roads and bridges and the consideration of claims.
