Valpo V ldetter ‘— The Ellwanger murder, which occurred just one year ago, at Crown Point, is once more freshened in the minds of the people and has caused another tragedy to occur in the family. Since last May when Otto Ellwanger, son of Jacob Ellwanger, killed his wife and himself, the father has continually talked and brooded over the murder until yesterday when he went to the barn and shot himself in the temple and was found soon after by his wife, who is now on the verge of death caused by the shock. Mr. Ellwanger was one of the leading contractors at that place.
