Application for License. Notice is hereby given to the-citizens of the town of Wheatfleld, and of vvheatliold township, Jasper county, Indiana, that the undersigned, who is a male inhabitant and the actual owner and proprietor of the business and who applies in his own name and whn has been a continuous resident of said Wheitflelrt township for at least nlnty days prior to the time of making this application and who is not acting as an agent for another and who does not propose to conduct said business as the agent or partner of another person, and who is a person over the age of 21 years, and is not in the habit of becoming! intoxicated and in all respects to ad legal qualifications a Stand proper person to he entrusted with a license for the sale of intoxicating liquors, will apply to the Board of Commissioners of said Jasper county, Indiana, at their regular June term. A. D. 1896 for a license to sell add barter, spirituous, vinous, malt and all other intoxicating liquors in a less quantity than a quart at a time, with the privilege of allowing and permitting the same to be drank on the premises where sold and bartered. >And a specific and prec’sedesenptionof the room in which the undersigned desiroa to sell such liqnors and the exact location of the same. Is as fo'lows: - A room twenty three (23) feet wide to the distance of twenty (20) feet from- the front of said room and the remainder of said room is nineteen (19) feet and nine (9) inches wide and said room is thirty-nine (39) feet long and nine and one half (9X) feet high, and the exact location of said rOom is in the lower room of a two story frame building, (The upper room .of eaid building being used as a town hall) situated on the following described real estate, to-wit: Commencing at the Southwest corner of lot five (6) in block one (1) of Beniley’s addition to the town of Wheatfleld, Jasper, county, Indiana, running thence east twenty-four (24) feet; thence north forty (40) feet; thence west twenty! four (24) i eet; then ce south forty (40) feet to the place of beginning. That said described room is separated from any other business of any kind and that no devices for amusement or music of any kind or character is in Slid room and that there is no partition or partitions in said room. That said room can be securly closed and locked and admission thereto prevented. That said room is situated upon the ground floor and fronts on Byron Street in said Town of Wheatfleld, Indiana, and is so arranged with glass doors and glass windows so that the whole of said room may he seen from said street.
