Death of Wm. Adams.
Joseph and Marion Adams and Mrs. Wm. Hoover were at Franklin, this state, Sunday, attending the funetV* of their brofcefr William Adams, whoise death occured last Friday, under very distressing circumstances. As he was helping tear down his old residence, Thursday, with a view to building a new one, a heavy beam fell ugpn him and so badly crushed his chest and abdomen that he died the next day. He was about 45 years old and leaves a widow, and seven children. His wife was a daughter of John Abbelt, a former hardware merchantof Rensselaer. He was born op the old Adams homestead, about 3 miles south*of Rensselaer. It is under T stood that' he leaves his family in good circums' .ances, financially!
