Death of Mrs. Anna Nagel.
Mrs. Anna Nagel died last Friday morning, at her home on Van Rensselaer street, after a long illness. The death occnred on the 69th anniversary of her birth. The direct cause of her death was blood poisoning, from aggravated and long continued ulcers. Mrs. Nagel, whose maiden name was Ham pen, wm born in Bavaria, Germany, and came to this oountry when 20 years old. She has lived in this county 29 yean. At the age of 22 yean she wm married John Nagel, whose death occured May 21st, 1890. She was the mother of eight children, six of whom are living, namely George, Michael, Joseph, and Adam Nagel, Mn. Mary Hoppe and Miss Anna Nagel. All live in tbis vicinity except George, who lives at Plymouth and Mn. Hoppe, who lives at Waterford, Wis., One son and daughter, named Jofm and Maggie, respective are dead. Hie funeral was held Sunday, at St. Augustine’s Catholic church, Rev. S. Neiberg conducting the religions services. Interment was in the Catholio cemetery.
