To Incorporate as a City.

The Town Board, Monday, night, received a petition signed by 220 citizens, asking for an election on the the question of incorporating as a city. The Board appointed the Marshal and Clerk to take a census of the town, and report at a special meeting next Monday night If the resquisite 2000 inhabitants are sou id, as of coarse they will be, an election on the question of incorporating will be ordered, at once. Probably for about the 10th of April. If the proposition carries, a notice to elect city officers will be issued for May 13th. If the'proposition is dedefeated the regular town election will be held the first Monday in May.
