State of Indiana, and over the age of twenty one years, who is and has been of good moral character, and not in the habit of becoming intoxicated, and a fit person in every respect to be intrusted with the sale Of intoxicating liquors, and has been a continuous resident of said township for over ninety days last past, that this applicant Js the actual owner and proprietor of said business, and wil >,be such for the entire term if licence be granted, willappily to thi Board of Commissioners of Jasper County, Indiana, at their March term 1896, said term commencing on Monday March 2nd, 1896, for a license to sell and barter, spirituous, vinous, malt and all other intoxicating liquors in a less quantity than a quart at the time, with the privi lege of allowing and permitting the same to be drank on the premises where sold, being the following premUes.to-wit; The precise location on which the undera gned desires to sell and barter, with the privilege of allowing the same to be drank thereon. Indiana, and particularly described as follows: Beginning one hundred and twelve and one-naif (112)4) feet north-westerly from the corner of Washington Street and Van Rensse-la-r Street, thence north-westerly on Van Rensselaer Street twenty (20) feet, thence westerly, parallel with Washington Street forty <4O) feet, thence s uth easterly paraUel with Van Rensselaer Street twenty (20) feet, thence easterly parallel with Washington Street forty (40) feet to the place of beginning. Notice is hereby given that at the January term 1896 of the Jasper Circuit Court the undersigned was appointed a commissioner to construct the ditch ordered mad© in said cause No. 77 wherein Benjamin J. Gilford was a petitioner and that the order establishing said ditch Is recorded In Order Book 16 pages 587 to 667 inofualve <rf the records of Jasper county, Inniana. and that such ditch.runs through the townships ] of Walker and Barkley in said comity. That as such commissioner I have divided said ditch in-' to stations of one hundred feet in length numbering the same down stream in all 323 stations and as reported bv the commissioners appointed to make the assessments an.t survey. That as such commissioner I will on the 25th of February. 1896, at one o’clock in the afternoon at my residence In the town of Kniman. Jasper county Indiana* offer for sale and contract to the lowest and best bidder* by stations* of one hundred feet, the construction of said dKeh according to the plans and specifications made in said cause and ail persons whose bids are accepted by the undersigned will be required to enter into a contract and bond as required under the provisions of section 6636 R. S„ 1894.
