Lincoln’s Self-Control.
Although Lincoln was universally regarded gs one of the most amiable of men and was scarcely ever known to show anger, those acquainted with him in his youthful and obsture years have declared that he had naturally a fiery temper, which he struggled against until he mastered it completely. After having become a prominent figure in the councils of the nation, he was a- pattern of self-disci-pline and self-control.
